Pinpoint Child Safety Standards
OUR COMMITMENT
These Child Safety Standards apply to PinpointExplore (Pinpoint), the GPS-verified travel social app, and to everyone who uses it. Last updated: 2 October 2026.
Pinpoint has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We will not allow our app to be used to harm, exploit or endanger children in any way.
WHAT IS PROHIBITED
The following is strictly prohibited on Pinpoint, in posts, comments, profiles, messages and group chats:
• Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including photos, videos, drawings and AI-generated or computer-generated imagery that sexualises a minor.
• Content that sexualises minors, including sexualised comments about a child or images of children shared for sexual purposes.
• Grooming, meaning any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual contact or exploitation.
• Sextortion, or threatening or coercing a minor to obtain sexual images, money or other favours.
• Trafficking of children, or advertising or soliciting children for sexual purposes.
• Sharing links to, or asking for, any of the above, or helping someone else to do so.
HOW TO REPORT
In the app: use the Report option on any post, profile or message. Reports about child safety are treated as our highest priority.
By email: contact us at support@pinpoint.pw.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police straight away. In Ireland, call 999 or 112.
You can also report suspected CSAM online to Hotline.ie (Ireland) or to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline.
HOW WE RESPOND
When we become aware of content or behaviour that breaches these standards, we will:
• Remove the content as quickly as possible.
• Permanently ban the accounts involved and take steps to prevent them returning.
• Preserve relevant information where the law requires it, so it can be provided to the authorities.
• Report CSAM and suspected child exploitation to the appropriate authorities, including An Garda Síochána and Hotline.ie in Ireland, and NCMEC or other national bodies where applicable.
COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW
Pinpoint complies with applicable child safety laws, including the laws of Ireland and the European Union. We cooperate with law enforcement investigations relating to child sexual abuse and exploitation.
CHILD SAFETY CONTACT
Our designated point of contact for child safety and CSAM matters can be reached at support@pinpoint.pw. We review and update these standards regularly.
